Forgiveness

A half day Online workshop with Swami Krishnaprem

This workshop will centre on the healing quality of forgiveness. It will explore the profound benefits of forgiveness and examine the often-valid reasons why forgiveness is not possible, at least not for 'now'. Finally, it will explore how we can prepare the ground for genuine forgiveness to arise in its own time.

Sunday 21st June 2026 | £35

Free of charge for Ashram Sangha members.

About This Workshop

Forgiveness needs to come in its own time and season. It is not about condoning or ignoring what has happened previously. Nor is it about suppressing genuine feelings and emotions that need to be met and, in time, processed. Forgiveness becomes possible when we begin to recognise how we are holding on to hurts/story lines/injustices from the past, which necessarily contract our energy-field and constrain our experience of life in the present.

Take the metaphor of a clenched fist. It may have become clenched for very good reasons in the past, yet for how long do we wish to keep holding on? Forgiveness is like the letting go into an open relaxed palm. Fundamentally forgiveness frees us.

The workshop will include asana, meditation and yoga nidra practice.

This retreat is suitable for all levels of experience. You are warmly welcome whether you are new to yoga or have an established practice.
