Yoga, Advaita & Tantra

Mandala Yoga Ashram is an internationally renowned centre of yogic knowledge. We offer residential retreats and online courses based on the authentic teachings of yoga, advaita and tantra.
Our approach emphasises meditation, transformation, and the cultivation of direct insight through practice and personal experience.

A Spiritual Sanctuary

As one of the few authentic ashrams to be found outside of India, we provide a vibrant link between the spiritual teachings of the yogic sages and sincere seekers of the modern world. Founded in 1986, the Ashram has over the years been a source of profound learning and transformation for thousands of people from all walks of life.

More about the Ashram

Our Teachings

Our teachings draw on the deeply connected systems of classical yoga, advaita and tantra, aiming to support the cultivation of direct meditative insight into the fundamental nature of reality alongside the development of the full range of human potential.

We teach authentic yoga in the broadest sense of the term, as a practical science designed to systematically awaken us to the depths of our being through harmonising and integrating the body, mind and emotions.

Advaita is a radical, elegant, and profound philosophy of non-dualism that describes the world in terms of a singular Conscious unfolding. It represents the pinnacle of realization and understanding available to a human being.

The focus of the ancient system of tantra is to expand our experience and awareness, often using our day-to-day experiences to become conscious of that which lies beyond them, opening doorways into insight and realisation.

Facing Death, Embracing Life

A Residential Retreat With Swami SatyaDaya, Swami Krishnapremananda, & Tulsi, and periodic satsangs with Swami Nishchalananda

The practices of Yoga offer us the opportunity to change our relationship with death not by creating fantasies and stories about what may or may not happen to the ‘me’ beyond death, but by fundamentally changing our understanding of what we  think we are – of what ‘it’ is that dies and therefore lives.

Cultivating Spaciousness

A Live Online Course With Swami SatyaDaya

We all wish to feel balanced and centred in our lives. Often though we find that we can use our practice as way to avoid the difficult aspects of our lives or that we become so caught up in our dramas, both internal and external, that we can’t find any peace or stillness. Yoga teaches us to live life fully and at the same time to be in touch with the fundamentally spacious nature of all experience and of our own being. In this workshop Swami SatyaDaya will explore practices aimed at this important balance.
