Terms & Conditions
To book a course or stay at the Ashram a non-refundable deposit is required. The deposit for a course will vary depending on which course is being booked (see course program for details). For a stay the deposit ranges from £35 to £100, depending on the length of your stay. Neither a place on a course or a stay is confirmed until a deposit has been paid and you have received a confirmation from the Ashram.
All deposits are non-refundable and, as such, any cancellation of a course or stay booking will result in the loss of any deposit paid. Cancellations can be made via phone, email or in writing.
Our full booking and cancellations policy is as follows.
- If you cancel 6 weeks, or more, before the retreat start date, the cancellation fee will be your deposit.
- If you cancel less than 1 month but more than 2 weeks before the start date, the cancellation fee will be 50% of the cost of your retreat (so 50% of all monies paid).
- If you cancel less than 2 weeks before the start date, the cancellation fee will be the full amount paid.
- If you do not pay your final balance within 3 weeks of the course start date we will assume you no longer wish to attend and will cancel your place on the course. The cancellation fee of all monies paid to date will apply.
At their discretion the ashram director/operations manager may waive this policy in exceptional circumstances. Details and reasons must be given with this regard at the time of cancellation and these will then be given due consideration.
Accommodation and Single Rooms
Accommodation offered at Mandala Yoga Ashram is simple and shared. Numbers sharing can range from 2 to 6 depending on the room you are allocated to. All shared accommodation is same gender.
There are a limited number of Single Rooms available and these are allocated to those who may have a particular need for one during their stay. Priority is given to those who have medical needs or whose personal circumstances mean a single room would be highly beneficial.
If a single room is required please request this at the time of booking and state the reasons for which this is required.
Due to limited availability, and the priorities detailed above, a single room cannot be guaranteed whilst attending a Course.
Food and Meals
Mandala Yoga Ashram offers simple, healthy and balanced vegetarian food that may include eggs or dairy produce.
Please indicate if you wish to have a Vegan, Dairy-Free or Gluten-Free diet whilst in the Ashram.

Whilst there is substantial evidence that yoga and meditation can be of great benefit in calming the mind and emotions, the ashram is not to be seen as a place that treats serious mental health issues. If you have mental health issues you accept that you are solely responsible for your health and well-being in this regard whilst staying in the ashram. At the time of booking you will be asked to give more details relating to any conditions and of any medications that you may be taking/prescribed.
The ashram reserves the right to refuse an application to join a course if it feels that time spent in the ashram may be detrimental to both yourself and other course participants. The ashram also reserves the right to ask a guest/participant to leave at any time if it becomes clear that their condition is being exacerbated by being here or if their behaviour is having an adverse effect on others taking part on the course.
Your place on an online course with Mandala Yoga Ashram is confirmed only on receipt of the full balance paid at the time of booking.
