About This Workshop
As the year begins to soften, we will honour the turning of the seasons as a quiet spiritual threshold. Through gentle practice and stillness, we will turn inward, release what no longer needs to be carried, and listen for the deeper presence within that remains steady through all change.
The morning will weave together yoga, pranayama, meditation, yoga nidra, and quiet reflection as pathways back to inner spaciousness and peace.
Our reflection will be guided by two passages from The Bhagavad Gita, beginning with Chapter 2, verse 70: “As rivers flow into the ocean but cannot make the vast ocean overflow, so flow the streams of the sense-world into the sea of peace that is the sage.”
We will also contemplate Chapter 6, verse 26: “Wherever the mind wanders, restless and diffuse in its search for satisfaction without, lead it within; train it to rest in the self.” These teachings will support our practice of returning again and again to the still centre within.
This time together will be steady, spacious, and reflective, offering a gentle container for rest, self-inquiry, and renewal. Everybody is welcome; please bring a journal for reflection, a blanket for rest, and a mat for movement.
Together, we will prepare for the turning of the seasons by softening into a slower pace and listening more deeply to the quiet guidance of the heart.
