Karma Yoga

 The Yoga of Selfless Action

A half day Online workshop with Amrita Sara

This mini-retreat will offer a gentle exploration of Karma Yoga, the yoga of selfless action. The Bhagavad Gita reminds us: “You have a right to perform your duties, but you are not entitled to the fruits of your actions” (2.47). With this teaching as our guide, you will be invited to move, breathe, rest, and reflect with care, without needing the practice to look or feel a particular way.

Sunday 15th November 2026 | £35

Free of charge for Ashram Sangha members.

About This Workshop

This workshop will unfold gradually, beginning with grounding and settling before moving into mindful asana, meditation, and Yoga Nidra.

Throughout the session, Amrita Sara will encourage you to notice how Karma Yoga can extend beyond the mat: into how we meet work, relationships, responsibilities, caregiving, uncertainty, and everyday tasks.

At times, we can all act from pressure or attachment to praise, success, or perfection, and this practice will offer a reminder that we can bring steadiness, kindness, and wholehearted attention to what is in front of us, then gently release what is beyond our control.
