The Pancha Kosha
The five sheaths or fields of our Being
A half day Online workshop with Krishnaprem
The Pancha Kosha paradigm offers us a neat conceptual way of understanding our
embodied experience, and That which lies beyond. Pancha means five, and kosha
means a sheath or envelope, yet can be understood as a field of experience. The
Pancha Kosha denote these five fields of experience through which our life unfolds.

About This Workshop
The five Pancha Koshas are:
Annamaya kosha, literally the food sheath or the physical body
Pranamaya kosha, the breath/ life force sheath
Manomaya kosha, the mind sheath
Vigyanamaya kosha, the finer intuitive sheath
Anandamaya kosha, the bliss sheath
This morning seminar will offer a practical exploration of these five fields. This will include a contextual context to give more information, and guided practice to attune with each of the koshas.
The seminar will also include some asana/ posture practice, pranayama/breath
practice, yoga nidra/deep meditative relaxation and meditation/ quiet sitting.
Open to those who are new to the Panchakosha, and also for those with experience who would appreciate a fresh perspective on this classical paradigm.
