Atma holds deep yoga retreats and offers individual guidance, specialising in Jnana YogaĀ & Advaita Vedanta, Hatha & Raja Yoga, and Kriya Yoga.

The journey to Mandala Yoga Ashram
In 1996 Atma Gyanam made his first visit to India, seeking a Guru, and happened upon a chance meeting with a Swami who recommended he use the book Kundalini Tantra. Unable to find the book upon his return to the UK, Atma eventually attended a retreat in Sweden with Swami Janakananda to receive Kriya Yoga initiation. Heading on from there to Australia he became a private student of Swami Muktibodhananda Saraswati. He also found the book, which turned out to contain what had just been taught in Sweden! Before returning to the UK, Swami Muktibodha suggested making contact with Swami Nischalananda. Discovering that Swami Nischalananda is the author of Kundalini Tantra was surprise enough, but after an exceptionally effective course with him, the search that began in 1996 was finally successful. Swami Nishchalananda initiated Atma Gyanam as Swami in 2015 on Guru Poornima.
